Welcome

Welcome to Panther Valley Middle School.  PVMS has 463 students enrolled for the 2014-2015 school year. PVMS strives to provide a learning environment where students can achieve academic success and reach their fullest potential.  Our forty five faculty and staff are dedicated to providing an enriching curriculum that will prepare our students for the world in which they live today.

November 2014
Picture retakes will take place on Monday, November 3, 2014 in the middle school gym.

Students will complete benchmark testing in Study Island this month.  Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade will test in math and reading and eighth grade will also test in science.

Class meeting and award recognitions will take place the week of November 10th at each grade level.  Students will be recognized for academic achievement as well as demonstration of adherence to school rules.

The PVPTO will meet on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 7 pm in the Library.  All are welcome to attend to support the students of PVMS.

The 7th grade team will be taking a field trip to the Angela Theater on November 21st to see Mockingjay.  Students have been reading this book in class as part of the curriculum.

PVMS will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, November 26th for the Thanksgiving Holiday.  We will participate in an Activity Day where students will participate in clubs.  This will be a dress down day for $1 to support the PTO.

 Food Drive begins November 3rd and ends November 21st.      Non-perishable food items only.  The Homeroom that brings in the most canned goods will receive a Pizza party!   The Grade that brings in the most canned goods will receive a Spirit Day!  Food Drive sponsored by Mrs. Alabovitz's Humanitarian Club

Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule:

November 26 (Wed) - 12:30  Dismissal

November 27 (Thurs) - Thanksgiving Day - School Closed

November 28 (Fri) and December 1 (Mon) - School Closed
